Need a place to stay while you explore the White Mountains? Our log home is just what you are looking for. Far better than a "cabin" we have all the comforts of home that you are looking for. Built at the end of 2007, our home is a Katahdin Cedar Log Home 1500 sq. ft. with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first floor has 3 bedrooms - 1 bedroom with a double bed and the two other bedrooms have 2 twin beds each. Upstairs there is bathroom, private bedroom with a queen size bed and a small loft area. We pride ourselves on giving you a clean, comfortable place with plenty of room for your family and friends to spread out and relax.
TV's have cable, DVD players and there is a VCR also. WI-FI available at the house. Linens and towels are provided. There is a crib, high chair and pack & play available if needed.
For others that like to explore, the town rec area has a spring fed pond with a swim platform and Echo Lake is only 10 miles away with a sandy beach. Take a ride on The Cog Rail, Hobo Railroad or Cannon Tram. Santa's Village, Storyland and Six Gun City all just a short drive away. The spring and summer can be enjoyed walking, bird watching, hiking, golfing, kayaking, antiquing, swimming.... your choices are endless. Or you can just sit back on the front porch, relax and enjoy the view of the Twin Mountains.
We are 7 miles from Bretton Woods Ski area and 10 miles from Cannon Mountain. Leave your snowmobile trailers in the yard and snowmobile from the house to access Corridor 11. *** We're working to make your stay easier. Contact Franconia Sports Shop 603-823-5241 and rent your skis, snow shoes, snowboards and boots through them as long as you know your sizes. Arrangements will be made to have your gear at the house upon your arrival. Discount tickets to Bretton Woods can also be purchased and waiting for you. When the snow is gone, the same can be done with mountain bikes.
*** Need to rent a snowmobile??? Contact Outback Kayak 603-348-7551 to reserve your snow mobile and pick it up on Route 302 in Bretton Woods. Larger rentals may have the possibility of dropped off at the house. Kayak rental also available in season.

Spring is the perfect time to check out Bretton Woods Canopy Tour/Zip line.
For the golfer there are several golf courses nearby including Maplewood, Bethlehem, Mountain View, Waumbek and Lisbon golf courses.
Moose and bear are starting to wake up from their winter slumber. Take a ride and find some wildlife but please drive safely!
The Cog Railway opened May 1st and is open on weekends only until June 1st when they will run daily.
Santa's Village opens Memorial Day Weekend.
Six Gun City opens Memorial Day Weekend.
Storyland opens Memorial Day Weekend.
Clark's Tradind Post gift shop opens May 15th with the bear shows starting Memorial Day Weekend.
