Need a place to stay while you explore the White Mountains? Our log homes are just what you are looking for. Built in 2007, our homes are a Katahdin Cedar Log Home 1500 sq. ft. with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Both homes have the same layout and are situated right next to each other. The first floor has 3 bedrooms - 1 bedroom with a double bed (Bear Cabin has a queen) and the two other bedrooms have 2 twin beds each. Upstairs there is a bathroom, private bedroom with a queen size bed and a small loft area. We pride ourselves on giving you a clean, comfortable place with plenty of room for your family and friends to spread out and relax.

We have all the comforts of home. There is a flat screen TV with a DVD player in each cabin. WI-FI is also available. Linens and towels are provided. There is a crib, high chair and pack & play available if needed. Both homes have a ping pong table in the heated basement.

For others that like to explore, the town rec area has a spring fed pond with a swim platform and Echo Lake is only 10 miles away with a sandy beach. Take a ride on The Cog Rail, Hobo Railroad or Cannon Tram. Santa's Village, Storyland and Six Gun City all just a short drive away. The spring and summer can be enjoyed walking, bird watching, hiking, golfing, kayaking, antiquing, swimming.... your choices are endless. Or you can just sit back on the front porch, relax and enjoy the view.

We are 7 miles from Bretton Woods Ski area and 10 miles from Cannon Mountain. Leave your snowmobile trailers in the yard and snowmobile from the house to access Corridor 11. *** Need to rent a snowmobile??? Contact Outback Kayak 603-348-7551 to reserve your snow mobile. Rentals have now been located to Route 3 South just around the corner from the house. It doesn't get any easier! Overnight rentals may have the possibility of dropped off at the house. Kayak rental also available in season.

UPCOMING EVENTS AND THINGS TO DO -

For the golfer there are several golf courses nearby including Maplewood, Bethlehem, Mountain View, Waumbek and Lisbon golf courses.

Bretton Woods Canopy Tour - Tree top zip line last for over 3 hours. Use zip lines and suspension bridges and explore Bretton Woods in a new fashion. Learn the history, flora and fauna of the area while taking an impressive ride down the mountain.

The Cog Railway - Take a ride on an engineering marvel. The train leaves for the summit of Mount Washington using a cog to climb the peak. Ride a piece of history that is great for all ages. Check train schedule.

Santa's Village - Located roughly 20 minutes away it is an easy drive to this North Pole themed amusement park. Special events around Halloween. Park re-opens at Thanksgiving - Christmas on weekends.

Six Gun City - An amusement park themed after the Old West. The park finishes up it's season at Halloween and then re-opens in the summer. It too is located about 20 minutes from the house.

Storyland -An amusement park themed with nursery rhymes and favorite children's characters in mind. Storyland is open from summer to Columbus Day weekend traditionally.

Clark's Trading Post - Usually a must see on every visitors list. Features a bear show, gymnasts and a train ride.
